Das( a Hindu woman) while holding a gun on the head of her son and husband. Alo
Rani Das (28) (another married Hindu woman), of the same village was raped by
the same gang of muslim terrorists. This group of 15-20 terrorists led by
Haroon, son of Matubhuiya Union member Abul Hossain went on a hellish rampage
in Maheshpur village (Dist: DaganBhuiya) on the night of 15th February. Several
women were gang raped, men assaulted, all belongings looted and houses
ransacked, this has led to a mass
exodus of Hindus from the village.
On 13th February Hindu villagers
accused Haroon, Sahabuddin Farooq, Shah Alam, Muhammad Yusuf for terrorizing
Hindus, and inspite of all appeals Feni District administration did not
act to prevent this inhuman carnage.

Alert: Suraj Mehta of HinduUnity Gujarat has died today after being surrounded
by a mob of muslims and was beaten to death with sticks. With him was
another associate of our who was injured but remains in critical
condition. Suraj died fighting to the very last moment without backing
down in spite of being out numbered. He fell and died protecting the very soil
that gave birth to him. . We mourn his death but we are proud of this
brave soldier that gave the greatest balidan (sacrifice) anyone can give.
Our condolences to the Mehta family. We would like to let them know that
his boy gave the greatest gift to his people, his country and his religion -
His very life.

farm tourism in South
hectares. This farm grows Black Pepper, Nutmeg,
Plantains, and Pineapple
other tropical plants and fruit trees organically i.e.
without using any
chemicals and fertilizers. This is now a growing
example of economically
viable Eco farming. . From May 1996 onwards we started
to take guests and we
have good response from the travellers.
We have four
rooms which can easily accommodate eight people comfortably
i.e. four double rooms with attached toilets and
private verandah. All the
four rooms can be converted into three bedded rooms.
These small bungalows
are located in the middle of our small farm and they
have enough privacy.
The rooms are having fans, and mosquito nets. Toilets
are having shower and
western type toilets.
We also provide food for the people who stay with us and the
price mentioned below includes food also. Food
includes Breakfast, Lunch,
and Supper. Breakfast normally will be Toast Jam,
Butter, and Fresh fruit
juice. Coffee/Tea also served in pots. Lunch comprises
of fruits according
to season, Kerala Pan Cakes or other small dishes.
Supper will be a
traditional Keralan dish with accompaniments mildly
flavored with fresh farm
grown spices. We also try to serve the food produced
in the farm or made in
the farmhouse. Coffee is fresh and Farm grown.
Out tariff for the year 2001 to 2002 will be Rs.1500
for double and Rs.1000
for single and Rs.750 for extra person in the double
room. The prices shown
are net and inclusive of all meals.
