Die Ein-Staat-Idee ist
natürlich eine Alternative zum jetzigen Terror. Wie ich die Menschen und
besonders die Extremisten kenne, glaube ich aber, dass sie nicht zu realisieren
ist.
Ich selbst vertrete das
gegenteilige Konzept, dass nämlich jedes Volk und jede ethnische Minderheit
einen eigenen Staat bzw. totale Autonomie bekommt, nach dem Motto: Frieden
durch Gerechtigkeit (d.h. historisches Unrecht erst wiedergutmachen!).
Zum Beispiel fahre ich am
Samstag ins Baskenland. Die Basken (jedenfalls viele) wollen gar nicht
friedlich mit den Spaniern zusammenleben, sondern sie wollen erst einmal ihren
eigenen Staat, um selbst über sich bestimmen zu können. Ich stehe voll hinter
den Basken und jedem anderen Volk, das seine Freiheit will.
Man könnte einen Kompromiss
zwischen Ihrer und meiner Ansicht erwägen: dass man nämlich drei Staaten in
Israel/Palästina und anderswo macht:
1.
einen für die Juden, die nach jüdischen Gesetzen leben wollen
2.
einen für die Palästinenser, die selbst Herr im eigenen Land sein
wollen
3.
einen dritten für jene Israelis und Palästinenser, die friedlich
zusammen in einem Staat leben wollen.
Dazu braucht es aber Platz.
Deshalb erneuere ich meinen Vorschlag: die Ägypter sollen die Sinai-Halbinsel
hergeben, die Jordanier auch etwas, und dann hätten alle Platz, um sich
friedlich in sicheren Grenzen entwickeln zu können, von mir aus gerne alle drei
Staaten.
Auch die Südtirol-Autonomie
ist keine perfekte Lösung. Die Südtiroler Freiheitskämpfer sind noch nicht
rehabilitiert, in Bozen und Meran gibt es noch die faschistischen Symbole, die
Progressiven zwingen allen multikulturelle Lösungen auf, zum Beispiel in der
Schule, die EU bedroht den Proporz (Stellenverteilung im öffentlichen
Dienst:2/3 fürdie Deutschen, 1/3 für die Italiener, und zwar weil früher die
meisten Stellen mit den zugezogenen Italienern besetzt worden sind; die
Deutschen haben einen Nachholbedarf) und die Zweisprachigkeitsregelungen
(Pflicht der öffentlich Bediensteten, mit jedem Landesbewohner in seiner
Muttersprache zu reden, wenn dieser es
verlangt). Außerdem wird das Geld knapp, das die Landesregierung bisher an alle
verteilt hat, wie auch in der EU, und so schwelen Spannungen, die sich entladen
können.
Warum nicht den Tibetern
einen eigenen Staat geben, warum sollen sie ewig mit den chinesischen Besatzern
zusammenleben? Die Chinesen haben in Tibet nichts verloren, sie sollen nach
Hause gehen.

Geneva initiative = money and energy wasting
Sami Aldeeb's position is
absolutely correct. The GI is a waste of energy, money, goodwill and hopes.
One of the main problems of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is racism
and this issue isn't addressed at all
by the virtual GI, which is not only unjust but doesn't stand any real chance.

Needed is, especially from a country like Switzerland with its vast experience of multi-cultural democracy, to
look for areas and ways to apply this important know-how to the impossible and
